Offshore Project Management & Project Stakeholders
An introduction to offshore project types, the full project lifecycle, key stakeholders and their roles, and the governance structures and corporate interfaces that guide successful delivery.

02
Front-End Planning & Scope Development, Budgeting
An introduction to FEL planning—how to define scope, estimate costs, align stakeholders, assess execution scenarios, integrate risk, manage changes, and build early budgets. Learners gain the core competencies needed to set offshore SPS and upgrade projects up for success from day one.

03
Project Risk Management
An overview of risk management in offshore projects, covering early risk identification, structured assessment techniques, risk registers, scoring methods, mitigation planning, and the use of digital tools. The module shows how risk informs scope, cost, schedule, and decision-making, and includes a hands-on exercise to build a project risk register.

04
Scheduling and Time Management
A practical look at offshore scheduling, covering critical path mastery, float management, vendor and long-lead integration, and how to build fully integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, yard, and commissioning. Learners apply P6/MS Project, track progress and earned value, and complete a hands-on capstone to build an SPS schedule.

05
Work Scope Definition & Breakdown Structures
A focused module on scope definition and control, covering WBS structure, SFI alignment, work package development, and detailed planning interfaces. Learners explore system-level breakdowns, deliverables matrices, and how scope integrates with cost, schedule, and vendor engagement. The module concludes with an interactive scope-mapping exercise using a real offshore case.

06
Project Cost Control
& Forecasting
A practical module on project cost control, covering budget setup and coding, PO and commitment tracking, cost-vs-value monitoring, forecasting methods, and managing change orders.
